2012 Olympic Games The torch has arrived in UK

We're thrilled to say that the Olympic Flame has arrived in the UK! Here's the moment just after a very proud David Beckham lit the first London 2012 Olympic Torch with the Flame: http://l2012.cm/KtaD4L More pics coming shortly!

The London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay has begun! Three-time Olympic gold medallist Ben Ainslie was the first of 8,000 Torchbearers on the Flame’s 70-day journey around the UK http://l2012.cm/J4AXFA

I'm excited as the Torch Bearer will be running past near where I live and I am going to go and cheer him on. I'll keep you all updated.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the coverage and think its amazing all the organisation, how fit the bodyguards are and how good the coach drivers are in the narrow streets. Plus its been really hot so thats alot to contend with but it's great. The torch gets to Southampton on July 14th but is also in my area for a few days so not sure yet where I will go to see the torch bearer. I'll be taking photo's to share with you all.

I love visiting Wales on holiday haven't been for a few years and have only done South Wales and Mid Wales. We will get to North Wales one year. The comments also are heart warming. The Scenery is fantastic!
