This is an update on my brothers condition. The doctors said today that his heart is working at 15% capasiety and the MRI results show that his spine has a cancer tumor on each disc. Also his lungs are now infected. He is awake and aware of his bodies condition. He is being kept comfortable with medications that will help with the pain and keep the fluid from building up in his lungs. 13 years ago he had his vocal cords removed and a 1/3 of his toung was eaten up with cancer. He gave his body one month to recoupe and then went back to work. Each Christmas he put up the Towns lights and decorations by his self. He decated his days to helping each and everyone that had a need in some way. The town gave him the key to the city and had a parade for him. He enlisted famillys in the communiety and the built a play ground for the children of the communiety. It is beautiful and safe , a place filled with the love of women and men and children. They took videos each day so the progress was documented as the town pulled together to build a place for their children. His entire life was a gift to humaniety and he would not want to just lay there and do nothing. The family from Iowa comes down to Indiana and visits as much as possible. His wife in an assisted living facility near by rides her scooter each day to spend time with him as she can not walk . If his health had inproved he could have moved into the room where his wife Jackie is staying. Everything is kept on an upbeat note with love for all that assists them. Thank all of you for your prayers and energies, I am deeply grateful.Bill had a nick name of Art and I text him daily as he can not talk on the cell phone any more, he is too weak. but he does text me back even if it is just one word and guess what that word is??? LOVE
