I Don't Chase Rainbows Anymore.

Sometimes I ponder

in wonder

of what is out yonder.

For I don't chase rainbows anymore.

Life just is .....

Dreams disappear

not even near

the hopes of New Year

as time rolls by

waiting for no-one.

But Hey!

On the horizon

dreams are arising,

quite surprising

what comes your way.

Opportunity knocks

possibility rocks,

potential unlocks

and my heart smiles warmly.

For the rainbow you see

it came to me

with all of it's glee

and excitement.

For a new adventure has begun

Oh what fun!

For I don't chase rainbows anymore.
