embracing, empowering and enlightening in love . . .
It was a hot and bothersome day, and I needed to cool off.
What better way, I figured, than to close the shutters,
Sit back,
And let a few ballads serenade me.
But not just any ballads.
I needed mood music.
Suddenly, Maxwell cried out, "You rang?
Then Janet Jackson showed up.
And Major Harris,
It was then that I discovered two indisputable facts:
One, that one of the best forms of meditation was sensual meditation.
Two, one of the worst forms of meditation was sensual meditation alone.
So, I asked my lady to join me.
Just as Johnny Gill was clearing his throat ...
And Gerald Levert was warming up ...
We got captivated by the rhythm,
And moved by the mood,
And caught up in the moment,
And immersed in each others arms,
And left at a loss for words.
And I later, I thought to myself, "What was I upset about?"
